Hello!
I’m Maria I’m originally from Medellín, Colombia, and my journey into the world of real estate is deeply rooted in my passion for business and investment. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I developed a love for business from a very young age. After moving to the U.S. with my family, we began investing in properties, which became the foundation of my real estate journey.
I started by managing a short-term rental, and soon we expanded into long-term rentals, acquiring new properties every year. With each investment, I learned something new, building not only my expertise but also my passion for real estate. Helping my family in this field became personal, and they entrusted me with managing and growing our portfolio.
When I’m not managing properties, looking for new opportunities, or studying real estate, you’ll find me running, at the gym, walking outside, or enjoying great moments with family and friends.
One of my proudest accomplishments is maintaining a short-term rental with 100% occupancy in 2024. While turning over a property in less than 24 hours is one of the toughest tasks, I learned that with organization, a good team, and solid planning, it’s absolutely possible.
I created this blog to document my journey, share the lessons I’ve learned, and reflect on the experiences that have shaped my path in real estate. Looking back, my first time renting a house makes me laugh—I didn’t even know what was important to show or say during a viewing!
